opens and offers a touch of Europe in town
ILDERTON
- There is a new apartment complex in Ilderton with a European flair
that is attracting a lot of attention as it nears completion.
Builders of Vintage Green in the village, Wilma and Gerry Van Bussel
are nearing completion of the apartment building in the Vintage Green
complex that will feature an atrium in the centre of an oval shaped
complex surrounded by three floors with twelve one and two bedroom apartments
on each floor with balconies running around both the atrium and the
exterior of the building.
A skylight is one feature added to close in the atrium. The Van Bussels
say that the design of this somewhat unique (at least in this area)
came from their visits to Europe, where this sort of building is fairly
common. They will also achieve a first for Ilderton as they have put
underground parking for the residents of the apartments.
The apartment complex will be connected to the community centre for
easy access for the residents and the residents of this new building
will be offered full accessibility of the centre. The apartments will
be ready for occupancy in early May and are designed for the over 55
crowd as are the 71 condominiums built within Vintage Green. |
